Show Me Your Ways

Welcome to The Way of Wisdom, a collection of writings taken from my personal encounters of walking with Elohim.  The phrase The Way of Wisdom is something that God has impressed upon my heart, again and again, as I have learned to walk with Him.  With each step that I take, I discover more of who He is.  To learn His Voice and to know His Heart has become the ultimate purpose of my life.  With each encounter I discover more of His ways.  To know the way of God is to know the way of wisdom.  King Solomon said, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight." (Proverbs 9:10).  Even Moses prayed, "Show me your ways, that I may know you ... let me behold Your Presence." (Exodus 33:13,18). His Presence is the ultimate creative force and the partner of His Word from the beginning of time, to manifest His purposes in the Heavens and on the Earth.  And this magnificent Presence is still accessible to each of us today, if we choose to receive this gift.  I refer to the Way of Wisdom as my Halakha. The word "halakha" is derived from the Hebrew word halakh (הָלַךְ) meaning "to walk" or "to go". Taken literally, therefore, "halakha" translates as "the way to go" or "the way to walk".  Ultimately, our identity is determined by the way we walk.  As Rav Shaul (Paul) wrote, "Those who are lead by the Spirit of God are the children of God." (Romans 8:14) For me, halakha is the way of wisdom, the way of the Spirit and the ultimate and only way to walk.  I hope as you read, you are encouraged and inspired.  Please feel free to connect with me and share your feedback and insights.  Thank you for stopping by!  ~ Jessica Lee Schenk

The Art of Spoken Power

Tomorrow is not promised, but Eternity is. Therefore, my desire is that the words I write will have an eternal impact on you ... how you think, how you live, how you view yourself, and more importantly - how you view God. Elohim spoke and it came to be.  Likewise, as we speak we have the power to change the spiritual atmosphere around us.  My prayer is that  I will be an ambassador for God - by what I say and by what I don't say.  We are spiritual beings, made in the image of God.  Let us speak spiritual words and change eternity!  This is the Art of Spoken Power.  For we are not born of the perishable seed, but the imperishable seed, which is the Word of God.  God bless you and inspire you with his Spirit and his Word!
